Christina Torres, Nurse Practitioner

Christina Torres is a bilingual and nationally certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C) who comes to us from The University of Kansas hospital. There, she has gained a tremendous amount of experience in advanced heart care, specializing in heart rhythm management while working alongside a team of world-renowned cardiologists, surgeons, and electrophysiologists. She became comfortable with caring for severe heart failure patients, managing hypertension, and cholesterol, before transitioning into heart rhythm management, including atrial fibrillation and pacemaker/defibrillator care. She has additional training in nutrition and holistic therapies and enjoys working with patients to help them integrate their personal heart care beliefs with evidence-based western medical care. She is pleased to bring her experience and compassion to the Heart and Vascular Center where we are now combining advanced treatment options with a team approach to exceptional cardiac care.
