Julianne Doherty, Physician Assistant

Julianne has been practicing medicine since she completed her Physician Assistant training and Master’s of Science at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in 2004. She moved to the Roaring Fork Valley to join Dr. Frank Laws at the Heart and Vascular Center at Valley View Hospital in 2007. In 2009, she extended her areas of expertise by completing a rigorous certification through the National Lipid Association to become a Clinical Lipid Specialist. Her areas of special interest include heart disease prevention, lipid management, heart failure, hypertension, and arrhythmias. Julianne enjoys educating patients on their disease processes and their plan of care, so they are empowered to be active participants in their own health.
